Chandigarh to put out nursery admission schedule this week - The Times of India

CHANDIGARH: It is time for parents waiting to get their wards admitted
in elementary classes to gear up as the UT education department will
release the common school admission schedule this week, confirmed director
public instructions (schools) Rubinderjeet Singh Brar.

The
department is expected to give special directives to private schools for
admissions under Right to Education Act (reservation of 25% seats for
children from economically weaker section at elementary level) and land
allotment agreement (puts schools under obligation to reserve 15% seats
for EWS children) in the schedule.
